Visiting Tsum is like walking back in time. Other than a handful of small changes, the sight and ambiance of this valley remain timeless. Tsum was a restricted area until it opened for trekking in 2008. Literally Tsum means "Vivid". After Tsum we get into the main trail to Manaslu circuit. Manaslu at 8163 mts (26783ft) is the eighth highest mountain in the world. The scenery becomes even more impressive as we climb into the alpine environment on the approach of Larkya la 5135 meters with big mountains on either side.
